Well, all in all, the Habs appear to be regaining their speed game and some rising stars are beginning to show themselves such as one Matt D’Agostini who potted his second NHL goal tonight. The final score of this one was 6-2 with goals coming from Andrei Kostitsyn, Alex Tanguay, Steve Begin, Maxim Lapierre, Robert Lang, and as I said earlier, Matt D’Agostini. Also to note that Matt D’Agostini received first start of the game and he sure as hell deserved it.
Price was very solid tonight with one of his 2 Goals Against coming from a nice tip by Markus Naslund which left it impossible for him to get back into position.
Tonight was also a retro jersey night which also found Price in retro brown pads that I actually quite liked, and luckily did not affect his play. The jersey’s themselves were pretty cool and I’ll post up a picture of them when I get the chance.
Kovalev is still goalless but added an assist to the Robert Lang goal giving him 13 assists on the season. It seems that he just can’t get in his comfort zone, but on the other hand Andrei Kostitsyn is absolutely flourishing on the line with Saku Koivu and Matt D’Agostini.
