Not much is known at this time, but just minutes after the Montreal Canadiens traded Guillaume Latendresse to the Minnesota Wild for Benoit Pouliot, they recalled Sergei Kostitsyn from the Hamilton Bulldogs.
This could be mean a few things.
1) Sergei is being called up temporarily because Pouliot is injured but will return to the Bulldogs once he’s back.
2) Pouliot will be sent to Hamilton and Sergei is on the Canadiens on a more permanent basis.
3) Big trade in the works
