It was a close one that had to be decided in a Shootout but the Canadiens pulled a miracle shootout victory with goals from Alex Kovalev and Maxim Lapierre. Carey Price will make his first start since December 6th. He missed 6 games with a lower body injury/the flu. In his absence, Jaroslav Halak went 3-3-0 with a .915 save percentage and a 2.33 goals against average.
